Cleveland, Ohio – June 6, 2007 – Business in India is booming. But who teaches India businesses how to succeed? When India wants the most up-to-date business advice, they turn to Ohio leadership expert Timothy H. Warneka, Warneka, author of Leading People the Black Belt Way: Conquering the Five Core Problems Facing Leaders Today. Warneka announced a joint agreement between his publishing company, Asogomi Publishing International and Pearson Education India. After a heated bidding war between two publishing companies in India, Pearson won the Foreign Rights in India for Leading People the Black Belt Way. “We are quite happy to have won the bid for such an important leadership book,” reports Sonal Sharma, a representative of Pearson.
While the exact details of the agreement remain confidential, Warneka is also pleased. “Business in India is expanding exponentially, and I’m proud that the principles I describe in Leading People the Black Belt Way is helping foster that growth,” he said. Warneka’s book describes The Black Belt Way, a new leadership approach that combines the strength of Emotional Intelligence with the strength of the revolutionary non-violent martial art of Aikido, which Warneka has practiced for 18 years.
Warneka is the president of The Black Belt Consulting Group, an organization that provides leadership coaching and keynotes speaking. “My clients were excited about my approach. They kept asking me to write a book, so I did.” states Warneka. Leading People the Black Belt Way was released in 2006. Recently, Warneka released his latest book that he co-authored with his brother Patrick Warneka, entitled The Way of Leading People: Unlocking Your Integral Leadership Skills with the Tao Te Ching.
Pearson plans on having Leading People the Black Belt Way in publication by 2008.
